Wondering what to do with the little ones? Is it not quite beach weather or have they already had a bit too much sun? There are 20 parks that have children’s playgrounds in the Jupiter, Tequesta, Juno area, each have plenty of exploring to do and fun to be had.
Looking for just the highlights? “Constitution Park” in Tequesta is perhaps the Crown Jewel in the area with “Eco Island” in the heart of Jupiter coming in a close second. “Old Town Hall” hidden in Old Jupiter and “Celestial Way” off Pelican Lake in Juno are a few hidden jewels. Other parks offer unique features such as Trains, Fish or Turtles to climb on, or you can enjoy their proximity to the ocean, skate board rinks, and ball fields as special anchor attractions.
Consider having a “Pirates Treasure Hunt” during your visit to the area. Copy our list of parks and check them off as you find and explore each one then write down your youngster’s favorite parts of each park. Most of the play areas are fenced, all have mulch or pine needle groundcovers and covered pavilions for rest and picnics. In a scrap book add some pictures and a palm frond, oak leaf or memento collected from each park to create a lasting “Treasure Chest of Memories”.
Note: For privacy purposes no children have been photographed in the parks.
Now, “Avast matey” and set sail for adventure!!!
